CANCELLATION UPDATE:

After careful consideration and out of concern for the health of participants and the students and families they work with, as well as our commitment to doing our part to reduce the overall spread of COVID-19, we have made the very unfortunate decision to cancel the School Redesign in Action Conference originally scheduled for March 23 and 24 in Norwood, MA. This cancellation includes all events scheduled at the conference including pre-conference sessions.  FMI: newenglandssc.org/conference

When confronted with the challenge of institutional racism, educators can sometimes feel overwhelmed. In this workshop, three Vermont educators will lead a discussion of possible entry points into this work and share experiences from their collaboration to improve equity in a rural Vermont district. Participants will leave this workshop with concrete initial strategies to adapt to their school setting in order to address implicit bias in school curricula, communications, and other structures.
